snow fence or possibly construction fence if your place is weird .......or get it for free by taking some from a construction fence

i used to have this stuff, i put it on top of plywood. It slid really well, but was really hard to control yourself on, also my edges ripped it so i had to replace it once.

i was wondering if it had to be the dimond kind or if the kind with the ovals like at most construction sites would work well...does anyone know from experience?
