Attention 08 Fischer Addict owners

i know that the 08 model has been out a couple of months so probably there are a few owners of them on this site. I read tanaka's review and he said that the topsheet still has the same problem as the 07's.
My question to the owners. hows the duribility holding up? if you could post pictures and say how many days, how much dammage that would be great.

well if the topsheets the same durability then id say cosmetically there crap.

i just warretied my 07 fischer addicts for the top sheet shenanagins and was wondering if they agree to warranty them what ski do you think i wil get 08 or 07

yeah youll get 08s, but honestly my 07 topsheets were fine. they had small chips but nothing that affected performance or anyhting like that

The topsheet chips really do not effect, to a certain point that is.
I got frequent chips which I never really minded until I got a delam about in inch into the middle of the ski which really pissed me off. But I cant complain, its not like I payed for them or anything.
I met up with some friends in Tahoe and they had the 07 Addicts and they looked at mine and said they were MUCH better, but i wouldn't really know first-handedly since I've never used any 07 fischers before.
Aside from the topsheet calamity, the overall durability of this ski is fucking insane! the Edges are more bombproof than my Fujatives, and they are nice and stiff, perfect for jumps
I can mount them 2 inches foward from dead center because the center of the sidecut is moved up to the center of the ski, so riding foward-mount on them is like riding dead center on a traditional ski, only I have short tips and long tails, which is REALLY handy in the air, plus I think it looks cool.
And looking cool is what its all about, right?

yeah mine were fine and i skied them a lot. i have some little chips here and there and the top sheet near my tip and tail are a little more worn but it wasnt that big of a deal. didnt affect their performance

my addicts were thrashed i had like 30 chips on the skis some went like an inch and half into the ski
but the skis are amazing

i got the pros and the are holding up way better than my brother's 07 addicts, im not sure if the pro has a different topsheet or not though
