Writing a paper on skiing

For my physics class i have to do a project on skiing. I have to write a paper that must include the history of skiing, its importance today, a clear explanation of how it works, its future importance, probable refinements, and it's competition.
I know plenty of NS'ers have written paper's on skiing so if any of you have something similar to any of these that yo uwould be willing to share please let me know...thanks.

its not very difficult, you could pull that off quickly, no need for any help.

thanks for you're worthless response. i wasn't asking for motivation to do it all myself, i'm asking to cop someone elses work because im a senior in high school and i have a week of school left except for this gay ass physics project and its 10 PM the night before its due.

just say some stuff about friction. and theres less friction for some reason so the ski slides. then you add wax and it slides better. and then mention the diff kinds of snow and how they slide and why.

maybe get off of newschoolers and actually do your paper. If you are a senior in highschool then just write a shitty ass paper in like half an hour and dont worry about it.

ive never actually written this paper but just say that like the shape of a ski is based on a parabolic equation which provides a smooth and fluid turn. and then right something about how like the bases of skis dont slide on snow because snow is an extremely abrasive surface which is why we use wax that heats the snow slightly helping to provide an invisibly thing layer of water above the snow which allows the skis to slide.

Yeah, do something like that. Otherwise it just sounds like a history paper

well skiing was invented by the vikings I believe. So google that and you got your history. Skiing is all about gravity so talk about how the acceleration of gravity allows us to slide down the hill. I would also mention newtons third law which basically is every force has an equal and opposite force. In other words by pushing on our edges it allows us to turn, and by applying force to the snow we can pop off jumps. There ya go.
