Replying to Guys and Girls, i need some advice

k so heres the deal...i asked a girl to prom that at the time, i was diggin. now im not so much and am regretting the decision because of another girl that ive been closer with for much longer, she and i have finally stopped dickin around with the whole just friends thing. So heres my predicament, next weeks my prom and id much rather spend the night with the girl i should have asked. shes goin with a kid i dont really care to much for.. so do i steal her away from this clown for a majority of the time or show him some respect and leave her alone, and have to spend most of the time with my date, the one i regret asking?
