Greatest President Ever

Well with all the Bush bashing threads, I figured it'd be nice to have a change of pace and say who you think was the best president ever. I say Clinton because he was a pimp... and he helped out the national debt a lot. But mostly because he was a pimp.

umm yea i know it pretty well....our economy was in the shitter, you cant even say it wasnt, he singlehandedly brought our economy back to where it should be no other president did that like Reagan did

i can believe you but clinton in with those presidents. That is like saying Joe Namath, Joe Montana, Jim Brown, Jerry Rice, and Michael Vick as the best football players.

Jefferson, Teddy Roosevelt, and Polk(accomplished the most in his 4 years than anyone)

You cant be serious can you, he was IMO the worst president we had, here is a list of things he did that just screwed us over, the list goes on, I cant even cover it all

1) He sold valuable,top secret Satellite/Military technology to the Chinese for Cash

2) Jim Mcdougle- A man who had some dirt on Hilary Clinton and the Rose Law Firm, he was going to expose her but he was found dead, it was said he committed suicide but the suspicious thing was that he was left handed and he shot himself with his right... so i personally believe Clinton had him secretly killed to keep this info on the Down low, which prooves he was totally corrupt

3) Gaat and Nafta- Clinton sent most of our jobs overseas because the labor for work was a lot cheaper there than in the US

4) For all those arguing about how we are in Iraq for too long and how we should pull out, look at Somalia, Clinton took us into Somalia when we should have left that fix itself, and look now we are still in Somalia to this day

5) After Clinton left office because his 2nd term was up he totally trashed the white house for the Republicans, and for what......

6) Monica Lewinski- he cheated on Hilary and then lied about it, I dont know about you but I dont want a president running our country who does something and then lies about it to try to cover it up.....dude everyone knows you had an affair, admit it...

i don't you about you guys, but i can't put FDR at the top because of the Japanese internment, which was one of the worst things we've ever done, second to slavery.

as far as effectiveness lincoln held the country together and pushes forward the progression of american thinking. clinton was probably the best in the past 30 years, putting us on the path to get out of debt, and slick willy is one of the most charismatic presidents ever, he could talk himself out of the death penalty and into the bed a of nun.

Yeah...not at all...Reagan is responsible for getting the US ina huge bugdet defecit which is why the US to this days is still in debt.

reagan is by far one of the worst presidents, for fuck sake he was just a pretty actor. i have this old poster of him for Winston cigarettes, a cig advertisement!! and for whoever said lyndon b johnson. wow. lyndon b johnson was a big fucking liar, who lied about american ships being attacked in Vietnamese waters. recorded convrsations between him and Robert Mcnamara, the secretary of defense at the time, have him saying ?i dono what you and kennedy were thinking trying to keep us out of this war!!' when Mcnamara keeps telling him that the war was a bad idea. okay thats the end of my rant. but seriously, lyndon b j is terrible.

No way could he ever be worse than the presidents I mentioned previously.

Don't even compare Somalia to Iraq. Iraq is such a larger more corrupt plan than Somalia. In Somalia we were not fighting to topple a regime, but to stop an internal conflict that was killing mothers and their children. We made many poor decisions militaristically speaking, but the cause was just. We definitely messed it up, but nothing near to the point of where Iraq is. We don't have near the troop, money, etc investments that we do in Iraq now.

I think he was a good president domestically and if it was not for the hostage crisis he would be remember as a great president. He set up so many social projects and advocated domestic responsibility.

He was a good president. Compared to Bush he is a god.

yep, i found this at a garage sale, and i ahve it in my kitchen. pretty... i dono even know what. but ronald was not good. and i thought it was ridiculous how every american flag was at half staff for like a year after he died.

Yeah, his "Star Wars" program to make a laser-shooting bomb-deflector cost us 1 trillion dollars (That's more than Iraq, ladys and gentlemen) but when it comes down to it, he was one of those guys you justed liked and also he did get shot.

Seriously? The only thing he did was add more debt, his "Reaganomics" didn't work out at all and the deficiancy increased by alot, which kept on increasing until Clinton.

yea but we are still in somalia and people are complaining about us being in iraq too long, I am not condoning George Bush's decisions, i personally dont like a lot of them such as his choice on defending our boarders, but hes better than kerry would ever be..... and why did we even get involved with somalia is what i want to know, because the US should not try to solve the worlds problems....i know its bad that they kill women and children but let that handle itself...
