So, at the moment I have Dalbello reflex 11s, they are custom fitted, with footbeds, zip fit liners, booster straps, pretty much the works, I ski them done up tight. They are however pretty stiff, 12-15 in Dalbello numbers.
They have been really good most of the season, I've got shin bang a bit, but mainly from landing in the backseat/crashing, which I can't really blame my boots for. I also didn't ski all that much park during the first half of the season. However towards the end of the season, when riding more park, I found that my shins were hurting a fair bit even when it seemed to me that I was landing fine.
I was just wondering if people think a softer boot, like the spk, as a second boot for park would be a worthwhile investment for the coming season in NZ (NZ snow can be pretty crappy so I might be riding park a lot). Has anyone changed from a stiff boot to a soft one and had big improvements?
