Replying to 3/16 thick lexan ok for box I need help quickly please-I have searched for this

Alright, no one around me has 1/4 in lexan except one place has it for $180 for a 3'x4' sheet which is ridiculous. People say you have to have 1/4 lexan and that 1/8 cracks easily. Will I be ok with 3/16 lexan. I have to get it today, so does anybody know if ill be ok with that.



And dont call search bar on this shit. I searched it, there is nothing. I dont have time to through all the threads in build a jib 101 either or wait for a response there.
