yo, alright say ur giving someone a interview and it will show them for a second then it will shoe a abother clip but u would still here there voice...
im working with windows media editor so im limited.. but would i have to record the persons vioce like on a vioce recoreder then transfer it onto the comp or....
but where could i get a voice recoreder that i could put the stuff i recorded onto the comp?
plzzz help

i havent used windows move maker but can you not silence the audio of a clip? becase if you can, you can sync a silenced clip with a (nonsilenced) audio clip of the same thing... and then do whatever you what with either one

Cut the video from the interview and put in whatever you want to be playing while they talk, and then cut out the audio from the 2nd clip so the audio from the 1st overlaps the 2nd.

u might need to get a more advanced editor for that stuff, it requires the audio and video to be seperate on the timeline.

its called an "L" or "J" edit because you cut the video and leave the audio underneeth. its hard to explain. maybe ill throw up a screen shot.
