you can't build an edge back up, you can try to sharpen them a little but if they are really dull, you would have to make the edge really thin to make it nice and sharp. Sharpen them a little, but dull edge under boot doesn't matter that much.
if you are trying to sharpen the side edge and they are still not getting sharp it means that your base edge has too much of a bevel (maybe from grinding)to fix this you need to flaten your base bevel by taking them into a ski shop and getting a fresh grind or buy a base edge file guide and a file and go at it but this will take forever. trust me on this shit i am a skiracer and i tune a fair amount of skis
