This season I've owned and skied a lot on the following skis:
- Rossingol Scratch FS WRS 181
- Dynastar Trouble Maker 175
- K2 Public Enemy 174
- Armada AR6 181
...and I can comment a lot on all of those skis performances, especially on hard pack, ice, some park and some powder, cause that's the most you get in Austria.
I was the most impressed by AR6's and that by a long shot and that's why I ended up keeping them and selling the rest of the pack.
The TM's are very good on groomed and hard pack, but they are way too skinny for any pow.
I didn't find PE's edge hold too trustworthy on ice, otherwise they hold their own.
The AR6's have very sharp factory tuned edges, that they were the only skis that held the edge on Austrian ice and the skis just have such a solid feel that you can really push 'em at speed and they are almost like on rail tracks. Plus I didn't find too soft, but the flex for my 5'10 180 is perfect for carving and everything else. I do have them at +1 from recomm. though, but they just KILL IT everywhere for me. It's a ski that gives me confidence where ever I take them. After 20+ days on them, they have softened up a little, but now I like them even more.
Too bad I never tried the Karmas since they are supposed to kick ass on outside of the park as well.
