My two friends work at snowbird and said it would be no prob getting a job there (for a pass). But I am an avid park skier so I was thinking about purchasing a pass to either PC or Brighton. Does anyone know genral prices for season passes to these resorts? or have any suggestions on what might be my best deal when it comes to passes?
For park, go to PC, not brighton. Brighton is ok. It will be closer to you, and it has milli and the stuff off great western too if you get out of the park. But that park isn't that great. Everything is set up for snowboarders. Go to PC.
park city was 375 for students this year. brighton was 425 for students. park city is the way to go, brighton is pretty weak. they never maintain so every thing has mad ruts, the jumps are small as shit, rails are pretty small for the most part. park city is the best bet. im doing PC and snowbird next year too.
Yup, Park City's the place to be, Snowbird's lame and that little place up the road (what's it called? Malta, Balta, or something) isn't any good either- shit, they don't even allow snowboarders so it must be lame.
^ Hahahah.
And I honestly would get a Snowbird Pass. After thinking about it PC was wayyyy beat this year, and has the shortest season. Snowbird gets tons of snow, some of the best terrain in the country, and a pretty fun park. Also, skiing from November to July isn't bad either. Their college pass tram and chairs is like $560 or something around that. You should probably fake a college transcript and tuition receipt and ID. I had to have a tuition receipt and my U-Card (university issued ID).
Ya PC is mostly park for sure. BUT I did happen to get the deepest snow I've ever had, at PC this year. Wow that was a good day...nipple deep...gotta hike though
Haha... I actually looked at my friend, turned the computer towards him then clicked it. LOL's for a moment or two. But the Utah Regional board is normally pretty productive. Just don't be a nub.... People will still prolly say "There's no snow here... don't come here" because they want to keep the goods.
^^WOW^^ So many well-informed, intelligent comments I don't know where to start. I moved out here 2 yrs ago and seriously, you guys are fuckin brilliant. Yeah stay out of Utah, the snow is heavy, the mtns are flat, and there are no hot girls here. I mean, that's the reason every filmaker/skier never comes here, or moves here. Yeah and your so on point w the mormons, I mean all that clean living and love your neighbor shit? You must know every mormon cuz they ALL have 15 kids and they ALL go commando after age 13. Oh and watch out for their horns, they'll get cha! I mean me and the rest of the non-mormon people in Utah basically don't even know why we live here, even though we make up the majority. Just remember, the best advice comes from people who don't live here, and if they tell you it's amazing, they're full of shit. UTAH SUCKS!
