How can i get some info on the public park? I am just gonna be in the area in early june and wonderin if i can just stop on by and hit some jibs and stuff.
far out. This has been the best winter Michigan has seen in a long time and it has most people taken by season depression but it has riders like me just pushin and pushin, so I'd like to be able to get an advantage on the rest of the riders.
Isn't the ASJ park being taken over by HCSC this summer? This is what the HCSC site says: "It’s true! High Cascade will have 2 parks this summer, effectively doubling our on-hill space. In addition to The Original Park™, a lift serviced lap park will be added known as The New Park™. This new park is the same area on Mt. Hood that Burton uses for their ASJ slopestyle course." Does that mean it won't be open to the public or skiers this summer?
I work in the park crew and for summer 2010. the jumps are getting bigger. 65, 75, amd 90 feet. defintley not for newbs but come check it out. pros ride here every day.
even if you ski you can still run through the HCSC park a few times... the public park during the summer is kept up nicely, i think i remember it opens at around 9 every day. and you can ski around until like 2.
