Knees after acl reconstruction..scar tissue?

ive been out of surgery for a little over a year now, aand starting about 2 weeks ago ive been randomly getting this ridiculously sharp pains in the knee i had surgery on when i walk..ive heard a few people say it was scar tissue breaking up..has this happened to anyone else? does anyone know how long this is going to go on for? it happens randomly to me but its been happening more frequently and it killllls..
oh, and i partially tore my meniscus when i tore my acl, and they tried to repair it but they dont know for sure if it worked..could it be that?

im going skiing sunday after an 8 1/2 week rehab, tore MCL, strained PCL and ACL. plus 2 small stress fractures.

yeah i went to rehab for about 3 months afterward..and then i did the exercises on my own and everything until ski season

it could be a meniscal injury, i would def head to the doctor, or therapist and get it looked at via MRI if it doesn't go away soon

it sounds like you may have some tendinitis issues aka "jumpers knee". i developed the same thing after my acl reconstruction. just take it easy for a week or two and ice a few times a day and it should go away after a while.

i have had both of my ACL reconstructed and that has never happened to me.... you should get it look at by the doc
