I have the 06/07 PEs , i love them, bomb proof off the rails, but like what has been mentioned the top sheet kinda sucks so i wouldnt expect great cosmetic qualities
i ski on msps, and have tried my buddy's public enemies a couple times. from my limited experience, i would say msps are generally burlier, i guess? or you could say the pe's are more nimble, quicker and lighter, if that makes sense. but like i said, i ve only skied the pe a couple times. my buddy loves them, though.
they turn quite differently and the flex patter is different, for park, carving, and hard pack id take the PE, for soft snow and sloppy turns go with the msp
Haha, the msp is lighter than the pe!
When my friend got his pe 179 theyr weight was 4,9 kilograms
And mine msp 181's are 4.4
But anyone, should i detune the edges on my msp's before hitting rails ??
detuning shouldnt make that big a difference. If you want to do some actual skiing, not just rails then don't de-tune them, but if you're in the park and have a thing for not carving, then go for it.
