Mac dvd burning help!!!

soo i have a pro book and its got a dvd burner and ive got dvds but i dont know how to burn a dvd that works in a dvd not a computer. ive tried making data dvd's and it says my disk isnt big enough.. even tho it is. any one know what to do!?

Use Toast 8 Titanium, select video on the side, drag in the video, hit the record button.
