Skiing Done?

ok so a lot of kids at my school in fact most are just saying the ski season is over. i wouldnt normally care about this but they act all hardcore during the peak season and shit and now even when we have a couple resorts out here still open they are just saying skiing is done and think things like camp are a "waste" of time and money. I personally think that if they where actual skiers liek they claim they would want to do backyard setups and ski stil.

I basically am wondering if other people think of these kids acting all into skiing then just stopping when resorts start closing is kinda gay or if it is just me?

haha, people in my school said skiing was over about 1 and a half months ago, i went for my last day yesterday, everywhere is closed.

Its only a waste if you think it is. Anyways, why let someone else dictate when its appropriate for you to ski or not. If theres snow. Ski. Period.

i hear you, everyone at my school stops skiing mid march. they go from late dec to march. this year i got out nov 5 and i might hit tuckermans ravine and got to memorial day rail jam. pkus they think im nuts for skiing in late april. they are not true skiers and ill tell them NS said so. but they wont go on NS and one of them calls it newbschoolers. rant ends here.

yeah its funny in colorado the season starts october 15th and ends in july and all the "hardcore" skiers and borders go from like late december to febuary while me and my friends ski 10 months plus a ski camp

all my friends quit skiing around mid march and there excuse is the snow isnt good enough. they think im nuts for havin a summer set up but i am hard core and ski as often as i can first lift last lift baby!!!

haha yeah my friends say the exact same thing, they get all pissed at me and say how gay it is cause i ski every weekend, and like the 2 weekends i stayed home i sat at home doing nothing, or sat at my friends house watching tv, and they complain about how boring it is just sitting around all weekend, then im like "thats why i go skiing" but somehow they still dont get it.

Birds open every day for another two weeks, then go to weekends only.

Springtime makes putting up with the crowds there so nice. No one else in Utah is riding chair accessed shit.

wenever i tell my friends that im going skiing they are like "but all the mountains are closed and im like noooooo, recently hiked seymore, built kick ass jump, had one of the greatest days of the season, mad goggle tan too
