alright, dont get on this forum and post shit like 'Anarchy rules!'

In theory anarchy is the utopian government. there are no rules because all people can be trusted to live in peace. anarchy is also destruction and with destruction there cannont be progression, being another good point of anarchy. i am not an anarchist, but i think that it would be a great way to live, if people could be trusted. what do you think of anarchy?

people say they want anarychy for the same reason they say they want communism. it will piss people off and they will think they are rebels. i think that anarchy could be great, but i dont want it b/c it would fuck up everything

actually, come to think of it, its not even good in theory. There's no money, so ud need to either steal, trade, or make it on your own in order to get something. there would be nothing governing u (obviously) so of course there would be tremedous murders, rapes, robberies, etc. There would be no incentive to make products, because there is no money in it. people wouldnt feel like they needed to go to work and technology would go backwards. Also, there would be no public schools. And no private schools b/c there is no money. So kids would be illeriterate. There is no way u can convince me that anarchy could ever work on a national level or even a local level.

the perfect form of government would be one where we have a single ruler who is all mighty. under him we have many people advising him who are forced to by large corporations. next down the line would be a group of people who are citizens with powers. powers to lock people away and to beat them. I think this would be great, we could call it... a Democratic Republic

yeah derek has got it down, it would NEVER ever work.. And, it blows my mind how people think communism is good.. Do you not want to succeed in life? Do you want no feeling of accomplishment? Because of human nature we strive to be better than others. Nobody wants to be exactly as important as everyone else, we like to succeed. Also, what is the point of working hard? It will get you nowhere in a communist society. That is why a democracy like ours (canada, and usa) is very progressive, because we have people who work hard and try to outdo themselves and others. This results in the advancing of our society, socially and technologically.

the bad part about our society is those who are 'money hungry' with job after job being shifted ovcersees we are losing our edge in being leader in technology growth and other such things. now if you guys really wnt to understand what communism (marxism) and anarchy are go and read some of john lockes stuff

Anarchy would be terrible. Anarchy = no prgression. Which means you wouldn't be able to have computers anymore, you would have to produce your own food. People never seem to look past the whole 'no goverment' aspect of Anarchy but there's a lot that comes attached. It's trivial though, because if you look at republics like Ethiopia, who's dynasty was held strong until 1974, and then the industrial community progressed and ruined the economy, the nation, the culture. If there was ever anarchy in the US the entire empire would fall without the order and obligations we have now, there woulud be no production, no progression. You see people with their anarchy patches, pins, tee shirts, icons- that in itself is protesting anarchy, going out to hot topic and buying an anarchy pin is supporting mass production... I can't really articulate myself but really, anarchy seems like it'd be sweet but it would actually ruin everything.

there's no such thing as human nature. Humans respond differently depending on the given economy. There is no set-code of genetics, which make people want power over one another, it is brought into our minds. The only problem with anarchy, is to get that out of people's minds. The world is capable of living in anarchy, or communism, but changing 7 billion people's beliefs and ways of life would be the only challenging part.

anarchy is the best political system in the world... anarchy is the real democracy it's collectivness in singularity. it's a great utopia everyman should be for anarchy except the rich rich assholes that governs us... this means the politicians, the rich capitalist and all the mafias and criminal organisation because with our political and economical system now they have the control on us. And in Anarchy the humans would work because I don't know any man that would let others doesn't work the others when they work so it would remove all types of exploitations. and money is useless if you live in a comunity. ANd communist never happened because there is no money in communism it's anarchy with a chief...


But I found another philosophy a mix of anarchy and socialism... it's with laws but people laws.. without money... politician it's people votes that count. Just like a little bit antique greace at Athenes but without slaves and coucils. The cops are milicias so there are no ppl over the others milicias are people armies. I'll write more later..

dont u think the militias would get power hungry and start taking over land? then theyd get into power battles w/ the other militias and it would be constant warfare. I'm sorry, but there is human nature. It's human nature to make a good living for yourself. It's human nature when u are in complete power to abuse it. And how is anarchism a utopian society? Like someone else said, nothing would progress. Major manufacturers and big corporations are what keep progression going, w/ the money as incentive to keep progressing. Who would build the roads? Teach the kids? Keep people from killing, raping, stealing? It would end up as chaos, eventually. For awhile it might work out, but someone would take over and turn it into a dictatorship soon after anarchy spread. It might be another country or someone like Hitler. Anarchism is the dumbest idea i have ever heard. It just would NEVER work, ever.

^john lennon was an anarchist. listen to Imagine. he says the world would be much better without possessions, religion, or government. thats proof that anarchy doesnt equal choas and it is the essential governement. but it wont work. true, there may not be a set human nature, but people certainly have a few things in common. for instance, something that is relevant to this thread, people want power. people want to control and thats why socialism wont work. people also like to destroy and then bemoan the fact that they have destroyed; thats why anarchy wont work

the super-rich already live in anarchy. when they get caught doing something illegal, they just pay it off. They don't need to listen to the government, because the government works for them, making their lives work better for themselves.

anarchy will never exist...people may attempt it, but 1 of 2 things will happen: 1)it will fail all together or 2)there will some limited set of implied rules for cooperation adn stuff that those attempting to live in an anarchy will automatically begin to abide by out of pure instinct...which if #2 is the result, then it's no longer an anarchy is it because there are rules that are followed
