Who cares what he rides? I ride 1260s and I'm not that great of a skier. I learned spins, grabs, rails, and spins with grabs on a pair of 1970 Dynastar 'Rustler' 160cm straight skis with big gouges in the bottom and even a rock stuck in them. I had ancient rear-entry boots I bought for $30 and Salomon s500 bindings to go with. I started the year with some almost skin tight pants from the 80s, $20 smith goggles and a nike touque. And now I'm on 1260s with freeXX boots and s810 CP bindings with a Giro s4 helmet, Oakley O-frames, nice and baggy ripzone pants and new poles too. Who really cares?

But yeah, that made no sense, but what I didn't mention was that he'll progress. Just like anyone else they'll learn new tricks. Randall is sliding that rail nicely and did some other nice stuff, Fred has those 180s on the tabletop down and i thought they looked pretty good.
