Yeah so me and a couple friends went offroading with my friends jeep and we got stuck in a huge mud puddle. After about 2 hours we got out and we were on our way to a party so we thought it would be cool to show up with "battle wounds", so we threw mud and smeered mud all over the car. My friend who owned the car didnt think it was a bright idea in the first place and I engraved a swastica in the front hood of his car. So today he got his car washed and there are tons of little scratches in his car and he is pretty pissed. So me and my friends have decided to buy some scratch removal for his car, so does anyone have any good products for this? thanks
yeah man! walmart sells this stuff. i dont rember the name but i used it! it comes with this foamy chemical stuff and a foam pad to rub them out! just ask the people at walmart they will know!
pay to get the car detailed by a professional. otherwise you'll need to get some paint polish applied either by hand with a foam pad, or use a random orbital sander with a foam pad attachment. the only somewhat effective products you can buy over the counter are meguiars scratch-x and mothers power polish. more effective products usually have to be ordered online...which is why i think you should just pay to have the car detailed.
Are the scratches really deep? If not u can buy some rubbin compound make sure u read the instructions tho cause u can rub all the way down past the paint if ur not careful
get some quality rubbing compounds, a clay bar, and some quality wax. Spend a day cleaning it. and it will be fine. This will work the best if the scratches arent through the clearcoat. ive done this multiple times with my jeep and othjers.
