I agree. I hate the red sox. It seems like a new fad ever since 2004 (when they won the championship) to be a red sox fan. I actually respect sox fans who have actually been a fan of them for a while I just hate sox fans who jumped on the bandwagon in 2004 or later and started saying they were a red sox fan.
i have been a fan since i have had air in my lungs... and maybe even before i can't really remember. I hate when random people are like "oh, so you're on the bandwagon, huh" when I wear a so x hat. I endured all of the 1918 shit from yankees fans for a long time.
Born and raised a sox fan, i live 20 minutes away from bean town. Yea whoever jumped the bandwagon is pretty gay, but kids from new england who jump on the yankee bandwagon are even gayer.
so i was almost gonna send you anthrax based on that first comment...allllllmost. then you did well to justify yourself. its definitely true, we gotta deal with all these like, royals fans who have never had a good team before jumping all up on our shit. i grew up about half an hour from boston, and then moved in 5th grade to about...half an hour from boston. ive been a fan for a long time, through the ever-frustrating 1990s. it was a surreal experience when they won, and these new 'fans' didnt have to do anything to pay their dues before they became sox fans. CUNTS!!!!!!!!!!
that said, theyre hopefully going to be winning this game, up 6-2 now. as long as the braves dont get 5 runs in the 9th, which is thought was impossible til that mothers day game. lets hope it was a one time thing at fenway, at least for anyone but the sox.
