Dave, I actually just sold my Big Hit a few weeks ago and got a more do it all bike. I just didn't get enough use out of my Big Hit, and you can't do much more with it besides DH and free ride stuff. I only rode it twice last summer because I was always filming. So I sold it and got a Specialized FSR XC pro.
I'm gonna come down to Iowa and find you... and have my way with you... in MANY MANY ways... I'll get creative, but only because you mean so much to me.
The first three are from last week, the rest are old ones... We'll get more up soon. We've been doing alot of riding in trains from non-stop to to bottom, so no one is taking pictures.
i need 3 bikes right now. tarmac comp for road, stumpjumper comp hard tail for XC and an sx trail for freeride....thats only 4 grand in bikes totally doable.
hey so I'm trying to sell my hydrolic xt components disc breaks shifters an everything off my blur cuz I put all new components on it so if any of u guys need tat sheet pm me....
badass.... no... smooth... absolutely not... the Marquette area, actually for the most part all of the U.P. is very very rocky. I ride a stinky deluxe now. I'll get some more pictures up soon, my roommate just blew out his shoulder in a train gone sour, so we have some one to take some pics now.. Come join us!
to answer the question more complete, it took lots and lots, in fact tons of lift serve riding here (MM) last summer to learn to become super smooth on the gnarly terrain here. Oh yeah, and several very hard crashes...
nope, we never got to the Dirt Jumps. I think we need to venture up the shore and find some cool places to shoot and ride this summer. All the spots in Duluth are getting played out. Or we just need to find some new places to ride.
