I love climbing despite never having done it on real rocks due rain one time and no time left another time. I used to go to a camp where they offered it. It was in the middle of the woods and I learned all the knots and stuff. d I learned self belaying and prussics and other random stuff. It was fun. I wish I had an opportunity to do it often.
in highschool gym we learned how to belay and tie harnesses out of rope and stuff and then climbed some stuff. it was really cool and i like rock climbing walls but theres no one that really climbs in new jersey
directions and info on anywhere in the world you could want to go climbing pretty much, pics too if members have been there. Also I'd be up for a climbing cult if there is one.
I moved to the mountains of north carolina for school from new jersey and all of my new friends were into climbing. Went to the gym a bunch of times at appalachian state and really enjoyed it. Then I went outside and liked it even more. It definitely takes a lot of time to learn how important technique is rather than just going and climbing up
