learn a gainer on a diving board, and learn a backflip on a trampoline. Think about throwing your head and shoulders up and back and your belly button to the sky. let your lags hang. That should help you get on your way to throwing them on the mountain. GOOD LUCK!!

actually, you probably arent going to want to let your legs hang, because for your first backflip on skis, chances are you wont throw it hard enough so you will need to bring your nees to your chest to complete the rotation, also, this is a run on sentence, and ive lost myself and no longer have a clue as to what i am or was talking about

I thought i was ready for my first so at the end of the season 2nd to last day it was warm and sunny and I threw it off a big hip they built with a dugout fucked uplanding and did 3/4 rotation and a belly flop/faceplant. word of advise dont do what i did. :D ohh yeah and tuck up your knees I woulda came around if i did that but for some reason i stalled upside down

Yeah, learn itwith your knees tucked in. Then, once you have them dialed on snow (which shouldn't be too long, they're not that hard), let your legs hang big mountain style. But just think about throwing your head and shoulders back and bringing your your knees to your chest. When you throw your head back, keep your eyes open and just look for that landing.

They are prolly easier than threes. Just go fast, bend your knees, thrust you hips out, and throw back. i leave my feet behind my head so u can spot your landing. My first trys i overrotated. just picture the trick in you head and be confident and go for it.

use a tramp...but make tramp ski's about 2' to 2.5' long and lightweight at the begging then add a little weight on to the tramp ski so you get used to throwing them with weight like ski's...also learning how to backflip while movie forward will help you out alot..I think its called a shootingstar....good luck
