i remember when the parks around me only allowed snowboarders in. so you would have to sneak in on skis. one time at boyne highlands here in MI the park crew said they wouldnt let us in. so after some convincing we threw down some 3s or in that day they were called helicopters still. and they let us in. wow i feel old now.

I remember then.. back in the day at mt. antoine I almost got my pass taken away for doing tricks in the 'snowboard' park.

i remember our park consisting of like a couple small jumps or so years ago. and a lot of little natural jumps that everybody did where our park is now, and skiers were allowed, and the pipe like 6 years ago, that thing was so cool, i didnt know what to do with it at first, ahhhhhh

Yeah, I remember when my hill only had two jumps and one rail. Both of the jumps were tiny POS's. And the 'takeoff' for the rail was way too steep to do the rail well. And then they bought a pipe dragon, but didn't know how to use it, so the first time them broomed the pipe, they blew the hydrolics and broke the damn thing. So we had to go all season with an ungroomed pipe. Yeah, those were the days...

Oh fuck, that was last season!!!

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up in the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week, he did it again. Different cat same results complete with another trip to the emergency room. So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to him “Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your going to get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?” And he said to me “Brody, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?”

i am actully glad my home resort doesn't have a park cause if they did they would like leave the groomer on the landing and open it up... then close when someone hit it.

I used to love goingw ith a good snowboarder I knew, and just talking shit to every snowboarder who called me ghey for trying to jump, cause me adn my friend would go throw 3 mutes and they'd shut up. those were the days.

also, how about when there were no poles allowed in the pipe? I loved that!

our resorts old park was so hurt,it was an 'inground pipe' which translated into a 300 foot long ditch that was not maintained, and 3 kickers at the end, i hit one really fast when i was 8 cause i wanted to show up some boarder, and i launched 12 feet into the air and did half a backflip (accidently) it was rather funny

Dude shit, I remember back when...97? My buddies and I cut some skis down and made skiboards and took some old K2s and torched them into twinnies. We would poach the SNOWBOARD park and throw lincolns, 7s, and 3 grabs and grind logs and everyone thought we were crazy. Then the BOARDERS at my resort started copying OUR tricks, started throwing loops like our lincolns and corked 7s. it was tight. i loved those days.

Without you my friend, there would be sooo many more try-hards in our scene, thanks for sacrificing talent for image, you gave us talent, and now we have talent and mostly cool attitudes.
I love skiing how it is, i say leave the 'cool' baggy pants image to snowboarding so we don't get all the unreal posers, leave them in snowboarding, a fucken great sport when represented properly, lets always make skiing represented by raw talent!

Thank you snowbaording, i totally respect the 'real' boarders, lik emy friend Shem.
It's scum like dspin7x and What_a_Wookie who define borders and races. Change your attitudes dudes.

if snowboarders haven't had pressed for parks there might not be any newschoolers. but if the wasnt skiing there wouldnt have been snowboarding.

our mountain didnt have a real park till this year really, they moved all there stuff from the old place i mentioned and made shitty ass whales on a trail that was 20 feet wide, skier were allowed then but it didnt matter. Finally though we got a real designer
