Oakley is actually putting together a video this year. the shitty part is that it is only the oakley girls. oh and there are girls out there, Queens Cup, 80 girls all having fun skiing. anyone going to the West Coast Session?

^^ yea you're right there are a lot of girls who are claimers. but don't associate all girls with that. look at sarah burke she threw a corked 10 in the pipe. i'm not the best, but at least i enjoy skiing.

dude hes just pointing out the fact that most chicks are...mediocre, some of them are crazy, but when you see thall switck cork 10 and jon and seth.... then some random chick doing 270in 270out on a flat down in some ski movie...pretty lame. but sure some of them are crazy good.burke, kaya,grete, etc

i am a HUGE fan of girl skiers and all(mostly for sexual reasons) but most of them seriously suck cuz they are lacking in the balls department. if u think ur under appreciated its cuz girls' skills on a whole don't compare to guys'. im not saying that there aren't chicks who can throw down, there are, but everyones all freakin out cuz a chick(sarah burke) did a cork 10 in a pipe. congrats! ur only like 4 years behind guys. thats the cold hard truth and im just callin it like i see it.

Yeah.... getting 20 G's for winning girls superpipe at X isn't that under appreciated. And most comps i've seen have a girls division, and there are normally like 4 girls in it, so everyone pretty much gets a prize/money.

Personally, i don't care if a girl sucks at park or whatev, but if they try it they are sick to watch.

there are 10 girls there....and i think this was the first year girls prize money was same as guys...last year it was something like 5000 for first place or something....maybe not that exactly but im pretty sure it was less then mens 3rd palce.

and i think its funny that on this site people are always going ooo i hate spin to win its so stupid id rather see a slow steezy 7 then a hucked 12...but as soon as the convo turns to guys vs. girls you turn it into a spin to win comp...i donno...typical guys i guess....always changing thier minds to fit the situation....

just b/c girls are progressiong slower doenst mean we arnt prgressiong....girls are out there all the time trying and they should get props for the fact that they are trying...not put down cuz they arent as good as the guy they are skiing with....

underapreciated?!?!? you guys can win pairs of skis and shit at rail jams for doing a nice switch up or a 270 out. no disrespect I think it's cool when chicks ski in the park, but I dont get why more of them haven't stepped it up to the same level as guys...? there are some dope girls out there though, I saw some sequence of kaya in a magazine and assumed it was a guy till I read who it was.

simmer down, he was refering to local comps, which is true, usually like 5 girls show up, take the rail jams at keystone this march, the two i went to had 1 girl skier, and 3 girl skiers. if you want to get the recognition, you should actually show up to these events. it's a given that girls are going to show up for the big comps like xgames, the open, and WSI, but i think you guys need to give a better showing at the local comps.

girls "professional" skiing is a joke.. . even compare it to girls boarding..

the best girl on skis is kaya turski right now... and showed up every girl pro after strapping on skis for a year. embarassing!
