Powder movies

It depends. I hate the fucking long parts of powder skiing in High Society,like that part with Dean Cummings where he does small turns on stepp cliff for a minute or so. But when Morrison drops cliffs in SM 3 or Shane and MD ski those pillow-type things it looks fucking fantastic.

It depends sometimes on where you live,I think. If you can ski powder yourself,then it might feel cool to watch it too..

watching people just turn in powder is boring, but if they are hucking off big cliffs, or throwing tricks off cliffs I enjoy watching that. Watching pros session hits they made is cool at first, but it can get boring, especially if they throw the same trick over and over (CR Johnson's segment in Ski Movie III). I like to watch a good mix of cliffs, and jumps as well as park footage, it should all be balanced.

mack you're wrong. CR's segment in SM3 was sick. but i agree turning in powder is weak. straightlining is where it's at.

You may think that turning in powder looks weak and straightlining is cooler, but I tell you what, turning feels alot better!!!

But I kind of agree with what your saying. Just plain powder can be boring. Unless there is alot of it. Then it makes me cream my pants. Like the Fernie section of Morrison chronicles. Holy shit!!!!!! I could watch an hour of that shit. Thats hilarious when the guy is going down in chest deep pow, then hops the little 10 footer and londs in snow over his head.

One time my cousin Walter got this cat stuck in his ass. True story. He bought it at our local mall so the whole fiasco wound up in the news. It was embarrassing for my relatives and all, but the next week, he did it again. Different cat same results complete with another trip to the emergency room. So I run into him a week later in the mall and he’s buying another cat and I says to him “Jesus Walt, what are you doing? You know your going to get this cat stuck up your ass too, why don’t you knock it off?” And he said to me “Brody, how the hell else am I supposed to get the gerbil out?”
