Another laptop thread

ive read the others but im looking to see what you guys would suggest on specs for a laptop. like how much ram and how big of harddrive you think is good. im also trying to decide between a mac or a pc and am leaning mac. but mainly just hook me up with what i need in my computer and not brands...

just get the mid-range macbook and you will be set, 2ghz then put 2gigs of ram in it.

1-2 gb of ram and 100gb of hard drive AT LEAST i have 120gb and i thought it was gonna be plenty and im running out.

2 gigs of ram will do you fine in all situations. at least a 100 gig hd is nice to have... more if you arent planning on having an external would be ideal. just depends on wat you are doin with it really

i have a fuckin hp dv6000. it was a legit price. i fuckin love it. its fast can run alot of shit.. nice harddrive size

i think thats exactly what im gettin.. 2G of ram and a 120G hard drive should be legit... plus i dont have to pay a dime cause its for graduation. now im stoked. i will just have to get used to the mac stuff cause i cant say ive ever used one
they come with things like word programs and stuff right?
