new skis

okay i have a friend whos goin on his 3rd yr of skiin at his first yr he rented secong yr he got stick wit his dads old race skis but now he wants some good twin tips he hits the jumps but i know hell need the skis to get any better cause on my second yr i got the 1260s and i learned just about everything i know in this single yr

so i just need to know wot would be the best skis to push him to his top

if its his 3rd year skiin i wouldnt get the 1260's unless he just wants to do park those arent too good all around, i hate salomon but maybe the 1080's because they do ski well, the mavricks wouldnt be to bad of a choice either, and the concepts are good to start on to,
