aight i just saw my dad use a pressure washer and a s,all generater, u can definetly make snow with this combination, i know, but how powerful a generater do u need? what horsepower? just enough to create a mist? is their any way of keeping it quiet? thanks
My friend made a snow maker with a hose and air compressor, but I haven't seen it. But, he had access to like $0.5 million U.S. dollars worth of metallurgy equipment at our high school. He's really smart and can build so many things. Anyway, I wouldn't waste my time if I were you because you could get more snow from ice rinks than a homemade snow maker.
alright well i know you need a pressure wassure and a AIR COMPRESSer because othewise you wont have enough air to blow out a good mist...like you need to make an adapter that puts air and water in
You can't make snow with only a pressure washer. I've tried it with industrial pressure washers and it doesn't work. I've also been making snow for 4 years so I know how to. All you'll do is make the ground wet, then it'll freeze, then you'll slip on it and crack your head open.
yeah pressure washer is just water coming out fast. You need the combination of water and air. So a hose with water and a compreser then a fixture that combines then another that sprays them out in a mist.U need to be to adjust the amount of each untill u get snow.
...you could potentially make a snowpile in your fridge and just shovel it out. I'm sure you could stick one in one of those small fridges and just fill it all up overnight. I'm not too sure how you'd pull this off, but this is definitely possible. Though the door will be propped open due to the hoses going in, you could toss a bag of ice onto the bottom or maintain temp a bit..
hey long as you get a nice pile you could carry it out in the morning and get a nice landing/run up
