I recently purchased a pair of Kingswood fats ( www.kingswoodskis.com ). A very sick ski, hand made in New Zeland, bamboo core, yada yada. Never mounted. they've been sitting in my dinning room since i got them (December) while i've been fucking deployed to Central America.

I was wondering what everyone thought about a possible straight up trade for some (new) Sir Francis Bacons? I think the skis are relatively close in value.

My syle of skiing is more suited for goofing around. I like to charge on occasion but for the most part I'm just doinking off of stuff and cruising around trying to have fun.

Opinions?

You're taking a huge hit trading those for Bacons... just sell them and buy yourself some Bacons, I'm sure those would go fast on the TGR boards.

But DAMN I want those...

What's the price difference? I didn't think it was really that much.

Has anyone skied the SFB's? I hope they don't have the same durability issues other Line skis had.

I took one run on them in some fresh snow, they seem like a really fun ski, land switch in pow well (not as well as the 130s, but still really well), and when you lay them over they carve like mad. Seemed really playful, I wanna try the Elizabeth super bad though.

hey im gonna send you a care package somehow. Hows it goin over there dude. when you come home try to get reassigned to the CG station in tahoe city so we can shralp. id take you KW's next year but im buying praxis for my pow ski. let me know mang.

i'm back dawg...just got home sunday.

I might keep them. I picked them up so i could charge steep stuff. the SFB's would be fun but i already have a floppy ski (arv.)

The plan for next year is to get out and maybe move to colorado.
