I have Head Mojo 80s and i am planning on getting new skis i want a ski that is really good for taking off switch. Is it true that skis with lower tips like line invaders and 4Frnts are better for switch skiing than skis like public enemies. I was thinking about getting the Armada Ar6s are they one of the better skis for switch skiing.
I don't think tip height matters for switch skiiing, except maybe in powder. What does matter is where you mount your bindings. So I would get Invaders or Anthems because they are a true symmetrical ski.
that's the ultimate ski steeze, if i had symetrical skis i'd do that, just for the hell of it.
Plus, gapers probably look at you and ask, "why is one of your skis backwards?"
ya no mater what type of ski you have mount them in the middle not modern. tell your shop dead center and then go home and measure to make sure that will help the most
I don't think tips make a difference in taking off switch. Being dead center will help. And seriously, make sure they write "dead center" or true center or something. Last time I got mine mounted, i said true center, dead center, not center at this line i want center at ski..and i still got "center" as in, reccomended
you dont need to measure, just hold them side by side and flip one upside down and if the bindings are right beside each other your good, if not then there not dead center
