no i would say there are a lot of people that can challenge him. If tyler hamiltion was in top shape it would be a really close race. Next could be a completley different story.
(trust me, the '' things aren't actually there)

Mayo, Vinakoruv, Hamilton, and Ulrich are definitly huge competitors still. I would pick Ulrich over Beloki any day.

he's not doing as well.. but it's only the first two mountain stages... I suspect he'll try to get something going later on in teh Pyranees

um, sorry for only seeing this today. my dads a huge fuckin fan and ive been raised around this so im a little bummed that i only found this now, i'll go back and read later but, judging by the past few posts.... did anybody watch today?!?!?! i mean, the finish was amazing, Lance just put down the hammer but... shit, he lost 9 pounds after the TT!!!!! he pushed himself that hard and then he nearly blew up today! this is getting scary if you ask me but, this is Lance...

man, the tour is getting crazy..

Ulrich showed hes a contender but i would be surprised if he will be able to stay on the leading group today ( sunday)

Lance had enought energy to follow ulrich when he was doing everything to get some time on him...

yea, In y opinion, Armstrong should be anble to make some time during the rest of the pyrenée cause he's a focking monster that recover faster then a vampire.... his cancer proved it...

yea, the tour is getting really interesting... shits can happen really fast in the last mountain events...

the us postal team will have to work really hard to save their leader this year... cause every body's gouing to attack like mad mens...
it's going to be super tactical... YAY!!!!!!!!!!! god, i love the tour!!!!!!

whoa whoa, i definitely didnt mean that. i just meant that my dads been a huge pro cycling fan and is a pretty hardcore rider too. shit, he shaves his legs he rides so much... :: shakes his head ::

oh, and i think you got Lance mixed up with Lance's real dad in the book. his dad split after his mom had lance and he's got two kids from another marriage that, for some reason, refer to lance that they're really close to him and Lance didnt know they existed till after his first Tour win.

Armstrong has just won the mountain top finish at lux ardiden by 40 secs from ulrich, putting him 1.07 secs ahead on general calssification going into the rest day tommorow.
Good to see him put the hammer down today, i still dont think he is anywhere near as strong as in previous years tho.

Was at Alpe d'huez last Sunday and I have to say that nothing beats being there to witness it for yourselves. Have been a huge fan for about 7 years now and this year was the first I actually went out to France to watch it. The atmosphere is unreal, they reckon on 500,000 people were at the mountain that day, and the whole weekend was one big party, all nationalities represented - german, french, spanish, dutch, etc, as well as shit loads of ossies and fuck loads of Americans - respect to them for that sort of dedication!
