Ski lengths for diff companys

ive heard that companys have different sized skis, but they say they are the same length. for example, a k2 ski would be lets say a 179, and a rossignol ski would be a 179, but one brand would be longer or shorter than the other.

I think some measure tip to tip and some measure the arc length of the radius side cut

i think it can be a discrepancy of a few cm depending on the brand.

I know Rossi Scratch BC WRS in 185cm length are really 182cm tall. K2 length can get a bit funky as well, I think they measure running length.

Quick example of the K2 Hell Bent, The 179 is actually 184, I THINK, its acutally 179 is on the snow at all times but if you add the rocker into it thats where you come up with the 184
