Timberline public park in the summer?

Hey, some friends and I are thinking about making the trek out to Hood this summer. I was wondering what the public park is like during the summer?
Also, we don't want to do any camps... so I don't really care about how good Windells park is or whatever.
Thanks!

normally it's like 3-4 jumps in the early summer, with prolly 5 jibs. Towards the end it changes up, and the pipe is normally a piece of shit.

Its usually pretty decent, they had like 4 jumps last year from like 30-50 something like that and a good amount of jibs too. I'd def do it I'm doing it at least once this year.

Is there a campground or someplace you can live out of a tent near there?
Also... anyone know the lift ticket prices? I heard that they are like 41 dollars. Can anyone confirm this?

lift tickets are mid 40s, you can camp at the airstrip, or trillium lake which is a little farther away but nicer imo.
park is usualy open until late july/early august
its best after the burton abominable snow jam in early july. they usually have about 4-5 40-60ft jumps and some crazy rail set ups and they leave it up for the public afterwards

Based on Last Year
Tickets: $42
Public Park: usually depends on when you go. Best time to go is RIGHT after the Abdomible Snow Jam, the Burton comp that gets put on. They open that course after the competition as the new public park and its awesome.
Campgrounds: The Airstrip is free, and I've heard of things getting stolen and being some wierd characters around there
Lake Trillium is about a mile down from the airstrip. I think it costs me and my friends about 80 bucks for 4 or 5 nights? We left our camping stuff out nothing got taken, and depending on where you campsite is you could be 30 seconds to about a 3 minute walk to the lake which is great for swimming in after skiing.
both the airstrip and Lake Trillium are about a 5 minute drive to Government Camp.
