Me and a buddy are plannig our ski trip for next year, but we are undecided aobtu where to go. We will go for jsut over a week, what in your minds would be the best place to go (in Canada). We ride park alot in Ontairo so we are mainly looking for steeps and backountry but we are still not counting out parks. Partys are always good also. We are thinking of Banff so we can hit up louis and sunshine and the other mountias right in that area. I no its early for next year but we want everyhitng to get planned ahead of time. we will go in march. Not whistler tho
you asked for best mountain, and in canada. your in luck. according to every magazine, poll, skier, etc. whistler is the best mountain there is.
i went last week. the hype is all real
In all reality, Whistler has the sickest terrain, but they don't have the best snow, and depending on when you go, they got lineups coming out yer wazoo.
If you got a week to kill, I'd consider Sunshine, Lake Louise and Kicking Horse.....KH is the 2nd sickest mountain in Canada....and Banff's party scene is cheaper and "easier" than the one in Whistler....oh, and younger....yeeks.
Hahahaha dont kid yourself...winter park is a decent mountain but it most definitely doesnt compare to whistler dude...Ive never skied at whistler but ive heard it has the sickest terrain ever...A place that compares to whistler in CO is probably vail...and i would say keystone too but its not really comparable to whistler either...
whis hands down. insane pow days. 3 awesome parks. huge. lines arent that long and weekdays theres nothing compared to most places. ski from nov - july. sweet vilage. close to vancouver.....
