The police said they were sweeping the school when i reality, they were sitting outside waiting and trying to contain the shooter when they shudve been sending in some swat squads to over power this dude, who only had a 9mm pistol, no body armor and was a lone shooter.
why didnt we learn after columbine that these american psychopaths are not gonna calm down and give themselves up? if theyve shot 20 people they arent gonna have remorse for the next 10. the police need to do their fuking job and realize that they have to get these fukers as soon as they appear and not try and isolate him.
im angry as hell.

Exactly, and wouldnt it be easier to assume the situation was done with and the shooter wouldnt return instead of sending everybody home, and trying to tell the 10,000 people on their way to class to go back?

it would have been so hard to lock down everything with all the students go to and from class, lets focus on giving our respects to those who died than making assumptions, we will never know if they could have saved more lifes by shutting the campus down, at the end of the day this person wanted to die and take out as many people as he could with him. There is no procedure for dealing with this, a shooter has never come back to a different area like this situation, its just to hard to predict so stop blaming the school and the police cause they did there job as best as they could

maybe if i put this in different terms, probably a lot of people here live in small towns of roughly 25,000 people. If someone is shot in what looks like a domestic disturbance ie they shot their girlfriend you arent going to go and shut down the city. How can you predict something like this would happen? Sure you should plan for everything, but this is retarded you can't see things like this happening
I hate american media, they are making everything worse. Their coverage is all about finding blame and by doing this they are causing more harm then good. At the end of the day a very fucked up individual did something that is just unbelievable lets focus on that and not try and predict something no one will never know

Exactly. After the two people were shot who expectes 30 more people to be shot. In times of emergency people panic.. its nature and in times of emergency things don't always go right... otherwise it wouldn't be an emergency. The police did basically everything they could. There are crazy people living in this world and some things just can't be prevented.

yes you do. its there job to go in and stop it. if they went in earlier when they were supposed to 60 poeple would not have been shot.

Exactly what I've been saying, and alot of people head to class throughout the day how are they supposed to know? Are they going to call 25000 people?

There campus is over 200 acres, there campus has a bigger population then the city I live in for gods sakes, and I don't think they have some super huge speaker to talk to the whole place at once.

That's not true, he was an American Citizen as was the rest of his family.
From CNN:
"In Washington, State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said that Cho was a legal permanent resident and had a green card. According to the Department of Homeland Security, Cho emigrated from South Korea when he was 8."
