Yeah so my family is switching from Verizon to AT&T/ Cingular and i need to find a good phone.. I dont think it can be a smartphone

the iphone is an overated and overpriced phone thats gonna sell too all the irrational mac fanboys. 4 gigs for 600? way to rip people off by predenting a full touch screen is gonna be good at al. you cannot put a full qwerty keypad abd expect to see the screen at all. Plus LG and Samsung are comming out with 2 phones basicly all around better than the iphone to directly compete with it. samsung's looks especially tempting.

Anyways enough venting, get the bb 8800. amazing phone, one of the top on the market right now

Thats the samsung which just looks ridiculous. Its even supposed to come out with a 5 meg camera(on the concept anyways). If thats the case well that in itself is pretty cool

get a blackjack. since u are signing up for a new plan u should get rebates on any phone u buy. i think rite now the blackjack ends up only bein like 100 buckswith that.

I think the samsung is gsm(cingular) while the lg is cdma(verizon or sprint)

i think the iphone costs 500 bucks so if your willing to throw down half a grand for a phone go for it, personally id get the shittiest phone that costs the less becuase those are the ones that usually last the longest and if you break it you dont have to pay 200 bucks to get it fixed
