Help me out college kids

so recently i got in a ton of trouble..like almost jail time trouble..but i got off with 2 years probation..anyways its been about 2 months since ive been allowed to do much of anything  (including winter break and spring break that just ended for me) and its really starting to get to me.im missing out on so many partys and stuff and it dosnt look like im gonna be able to go out any time soon.but then i got thinking about college.im in 11th grade by the way.anyway i was wondering am i feeling shitty about missing out on everything for no reason? i mean is college really that fun.do i have that much to look forward to?

I'm pretty sure the main goal of college is to educate yourself for your future career, seeing how you pay 5-20k a year for tuition. But partying is a close #2.

what are you asking? Whether you should go to college even though you got in trouble? Whether you should party in college? Or whether you should not worry about not partying in high school because you'll have the chance to party in college? Your post made little to no sense.

Truth hurts. And partying in high school is nothing compared to college. So many kids don't party in high school but start in college. You have ALOT to look forward to.

good question. and i didn't party in high school but started in college and it is mad fun. just wait it out and then when you go to your first party at college it will be amazing.

That pretty much sums it up...I was never a big partier in high school, they just weren't that fun, but college parties are amazing and definitely worth looking forward to.

i would have just taken the jail time, probation sucks. if you do anything youre gonna go there anyways. i wouldve just done my time and been done with it. if your so concerned with "partying", this is what you should of done. you could be partying the day you got out, with no strings attached....no parole, no probation. just got out of jail parties are th best anyways...

well lets just say my house burnt down and they found a O in my room and pieces lighters and so on..for he record no i didnt burn down the house by smoking but that was what i was charged with because i was high as a kite when it happened

if the house burnt down, how did the lighters and weed not burn? did your section of the house not get burned? i wouldve grabbed it before i left, especially if there was no fire in that area of the house......HOLD ON. why would they think you started it if your room did not even burn. it would be obvious that the fire didnt start in your room. and any lawyer would get you out of this if youre telling the truth. did u sign a plea bargain?? i think youre failing to tell us something here....

you do know you have to apply and be accepted into college right? you don't just show up with a handle of vodka and a 30 rack of beers and say lets party. i dont think the statistics are high for people getting into college who burnt their house down when they were on drugs at the age of 16.

man no offense, im sure your not like this but i know people who were like that. and they fucked up their whole college. they never drank or anything in highschool, and that is what their college lifestlye is now. drinking and smoking weed the last thing on their minds is education. so id advise drink before college so you know what is up and dont "over-do" it..

man, youll look back on highschool, and be, psh, what the fuck, that was lame. highschool is gay as shit, and college is a fucking blast. it is also a MASSIVE amount of work, but its all soo worth it. i mean, obviously, if your only going to party, then just move to a college town, but even the actual school aspect is great, ive learned sooo much, cranked out some awesome work im wicked proud of, etc etc. Highschool and college cant really even be compaired in my opinion.

and also, like ^ said, hes right. unless you wanna spend a year at community college or something, work and get the shit done, and bitchslap the ACTs or SATs. besides, honestly, at that level, its all very basic and easy. its all worth it when your living in a wicked location going to a good school, VS some backass woods place.
