for all the youngsters. that days inn is the biggest piece of shit ever and this topic has compelled me to tell you the original spring board/days inn/cop run-in. we were all boozed up during the day and went back to our hotel room to booze more, we were all underage. we kind of had a combined party on our floor with the burton guys and a bunch of skiers when my dumbass got the idea to go door to door to find girls. i found one. after her mom caught us heavy petting in the stairwell, she phoned down to the front desk and complained of the noise. when the front desk doosh came up to yell at us, lets just say that i was young, drunk, and not very receptive. next thing you know we're back to boozing and someone knocked on the door, of course my dumbass had to answer, it was michigan's finest state troopers, they hauled me and fatboy off to the squad car while others (who shall remain nameless) hid under the beds. because of my B.A.C.(Blood Alcohol Content) they were unable to release me for fear that I would die of alcohol poisoning. after 2 hours in a makeshift drunk tank, which was just a chair at their dispatch office, a domestic dispute call came in and there wasn't anyone to watch me, so in the back of the car i went, drunk and completely entertained. end all be all i woke up in the morning at my hotel with zero recollection of the prior night's events. i found out about all the shit from one of the cop's affidavit that he filed when i was in court. there is a lot more to the story but i have nevered typed it out and it's pretty fucking long so far. if some of you did get mips at the hill get ready for an assfuck at the county courthouse. put on your best preppie clothes and parted hair, its not like marquette where you just go and pay your ticket to the magistrate, it's full on court. you have to wait in line in the courtroom and listen to everyone else's cases, from repeat drunk drivers to amateur shoplifters. when it's your turn you go up before the judge and plead guilty or not guilty. the kid in front of me blew a 0.006, he was 18, he recieved a $60.00 fine and SIXTY HOURS, yes SIXTY HOURS, of community service. now because of my BAC being exponentially higher, I thought I was fucked, especially when the judge gasped out loud at my report as well as the other degenerates in the courtroom chuckling. Because I was an out of towner however they did not give me community service, only a $220 fine plus court costs and a bullshit alchohol assessment which was outrageously expensive. I'm not typing shit into here that isn't already public knowledge but there were some other extenuating circumstances beyond this ordeal, but either way it sucked. Moral of the story, when at that courthouse KISS ASS!
