5 feet high enough for a drop in?

Alright, I haven't enough responses in build a jib 101. so my backyard set up just doesn't cut it right now, so Im making some really nice boxes and I need a good drop in. Im planning on making it 5 feet high around 3x3 at the top, and the ramp going down would be about a 45 deg angle and 2 feet wide. I plan on making it so the drop in is portable so I can use it for urban. Is it high enough to get on a 1.5 foot tall box using astroturf and sometimes snow? Ill prob be putting astroturf on it, since I don't think i can get snowfence stuff in atlanta. My yard is a very mellow hill. Not enough to get enough speed for my boxes. thanks in advance.

5 feet is high enough, it's all about getting the snow to stick to it though, and making sure it's sturdy so the ramp doesn't flex under you.
steep is good too

Dude 5 foot will work great. I have about a 5 foot high ramp onto a 14 foot high box and its really fast. But yea, you should be good, and if you put snow on it or even lots of soap youll be haulin. Just make sure the tranny isnt too long because you loose alotta speed on that. Good luck!

oh yeah, just nail that to the top and you'll be set.
(i do not support nor condone the use of the term "search bar" which us often used in an attempt to demean or lable one as a "noob" or "newb" or "n00b" or any other variation of such.)

5 feet is plenty high, mine is eight and for a lot of things it is too big. like i really can't take it to an urban because i don't need that much speed and it is large. Also, mine is at a 37 degree angle and the ramp/ground transition is still pretty harsh so you might want to change that. Also, for mine i just stole some of the orange fencing from a construction site and that works great.
