I'm 6'0 160 pounds. Live in MA (east coast conditions)
I skied when I was younger and just picked it up again this past year. I got a season pass, went about 25 times, and got much better. I went with 06/07 K2 Public Enemy in 169. I really like how solid they are all mountain/powder but also seemed to be fine in the park. Besides a few chips in the topsheet they held up great and the edges are fine. I know people say they are heavy, stiff, and lifeless but I have nothing to compare them to so I thought they were fine.
I'm getting a season pass again this coming winter and I definitely need longer skis and I'm looking for something a little more park oriented, but not as flimsy as Fujatives. I'm going to ski roughly 80% park/20% mountain and I'm looking for something around 179cm that's fairly light, stable at least at medium speeds, has some flex, and is able to stand some moderate abuse. I'll be doing more boxes/rails than jumps, and when I do jumps it's nothing huge. I'm not looking to spend a forture, so nothing from the 07/08 season. I read threads on here all the time, but there are so many options it's hard to pick.
Give me some suggestions.
