How many beers to get you drunk

Im hammered right now and just out of curiousity I want to know how many beers it takes for you to get you drunk

depends on what you call drunk though. if you just mean buzzed (which a lot of people consider drunk but i dont) then i suppose 5.

to be drunk i'd say about 10... or so... but my version of drunk and your version is probialy different.. i was completely wasted on like 4/5ths of a 26er of bacardi black all drank in about 2 hours or so

yeah theres a broad range of drunk. 4-5 beers im feeling good. 8-10 im drunk. but after 12 im pretty much in black out drunk mode, and then it just goes down like water till i pass out or puke.

haha black out drunk means about 15 beers, 5 rum and cokes, and 7 shots i think blacks me out... thats how much i drank one night and got cut off from the bar, so i bribed a guy to buy me three beers and i'd give him some pot and gave him coffie grounds instead... well acctually he took my bag of pot, and i just got off the plane so i had it in a bag of coffie grounds then i had my bag of pot in the coffie grounds... so it's funny cause they took it from me and never found the pot.. haha

haha you my friend need irish in your bloodline.. that and scottish.. thats what does it for me... i've out drank alot of people due to the irish in my blood... one guy i was drinking with like 3 mights ago, drank like half of what i drank and was sick and i was like fuck man, i was drinking on an empty stomach.. i think i'd rather be able to drink someone under the table then be a cheap drunk... it just means its easier for someone you dont want to take advantage of you.. like ugly people... yet have i ever woken up with an ugly girl... haha i'm kinda glad

being able to drink a lot is better because you can last all night without having to drink water, or passing out early. I can drink a lot, more than most any girl i know. but i just black out easily. People will think im totally coherant, and im acting completely normal, but i wont remember it in the morning.

i was referring to semi-light beer. not like michalob ultra light or anything. but like...corona/heini/mannys/kokanee/stella. certainly not mac and jacks or guiness, id get drunk a lot quicker.

guinness tastes like shit to me... soo many people have tried to convince me to drink it, but i cant brink myself to drink it.. unless i'm mildly drunk then i'll most likely drink anything

I'm Scottish and Australian, ultimate hybrid. To loosen up and relax, maybe 4 or 5 beers. To start losing coordination, maybe 8 or 9 beers. After I've reached the apex, I don't usually drink much more, maybe one or two an hour to maintain.

you all can't be serious cause I've finished 1.75's in a night without blacking out. It takes me a minimum of 10-15 drinks to start buzzing.

This depends on the time span.. If I pace myself correctly I can just go until there are no more beers left. Sadly.I usually Loose sense of time when I am drunk and also loose count.. But im scottish So I'd reckng 6-9 to feel it and like 12 im Off. But Once im super drunk i just keep drinking till I feel sick.then I stop or barf Or pass out

I know It's higher than most but all my friends drink at least 10-15 beers a night or more and there's rarely puking let alone blacking out.

haha, same! once you just get shit faced, you just keep putting em back until you pass out or barf. its like jogging...eventually you get in your zone where you can go forever.

its completely unrelevent... were talking about drinking to get drunk... you're obviously not drinking to get drunk if it takes you 7 hours to get down 15 beers... I'm pretty sure that makes you a pussy... and snobunny no worries i'm in the same position as ou, i think i'm just gonna smoke some herbto sleep tho.. smoke some then go watch TMNT for the 6th time.. hahaha

Yeah, definitely depends on the beer, how much I've eaten... I tried to apply these numbers when a friend of mine got his hands on a keg of Fat Tire and ended up falling off his roof haha.

3-4: Feeling good
7-9: Drunk
10-12: Hammered, possible blacking out or passing out depending on other factors.

I used to black out and pass out a ton but since I started drinking more beer and sticking to those numbers I rarely have problems... we always used to drink liquor, which I don't really mind drinking straight so I'd pull out of the bottle all night, completely lose track of how much I'd had and get destroyed.

For the most part, I think that's because said people want to come off as "cool", and to do that, they need to be trashed. They think that the only way people will believe they're trashed is if they have terrible spelling and grammar, which in turn shows just how cool they really are. In all honesty, unless I am pretty hammered, I can type coherently with a little extra effort.

I start feeling it after 4, start getting a little rambunctious at 8, by 12 I just want more beer and it's a downhill slope.  At 12 I am still coherent and can walk and talk and what not but I am drunk.  I can usually put back another 6 before I pass out, so 18 to pass out.  That would be a typical 8pm to 2am party night.

In highschool it was awesome cause I could get drunk so cheap. Like 7 beers and I was in pretty good shape. Now that I'm in my second year of college, my tolerence has pretty much gone through the roof. Its seriously hard for me to get drunk off light party beers like natty or key. I have to chug or shotgun them. But I normally pre-game heavily now before i go out, so i only need to maintain my level.

my freshman year i was a tank. this year, for some reason, even thou i drink alot more, its gone down a bit. and the beer of choice is natural light. UMMMMMM!

4-6, lil buzz, feelin ok, but def ready to drink alot more
6-10, my nice happy drunk,  still plenty in control, but  havin a good time
10-14, pretty damn drunk, this is where i start rocking out super hardcore to air guitar and smashing everything in sight
14+, gone, but i know my limits, and i only puke/passout if there are other substances involved, namely weed. one toke after your drunk, and your super drunk.
