are these 2 skis comparable in the way they ride?
im thinking of proforming the addicts in a 182 next year and i was wondering if they are like the chronics, i understand they are also stiff, so im just wondering what they are like

addicts are ment to be centre mounted, like invaders, where the chronics have a -2 mounting. Next years chronics hve sidewall construction and are designed with freestyle construction.

I love my pair of chronics, just wish they came in 180+ sizes. Other than that, like they said above, durable, light weight, crazy pop. If you want a stiff park ski, I highly recommend it.

yes they are very similar both are stiff park skis the only difference was the construction the chronic being cap and the addict being sidewall but both skis will be sidewall for the 07.08 season

What do you guys think will act better in the park, Anthems of Chronics /w the freeride sidewall and stuff? Regardless of the anthems being "true twin," Chronics are definitely stiffer and as you all say have crazy pop

this years (07.08) will also be a softer skier but will still be stiffer then most of the skis out there

the addicts are more park oriented and the chronics are more all mountain oriented. whatever you do more get the coresponding ski

Invaders are getting that ollie band thing. So, a little more pop maybe, with a tiny bit of added stiffness, but not much. I'm not sure about how the ollie band will change softness/pop, but those would be my assumptions.

ya i had the chronics this year, and i love the ski, but i have heard great things about the anthem, i live in so cal so i pretty much ride all park, and if i wanted to i have scratch bc wrs, for my trips to mammoth. so i mean how would they be similar because im seeing if i would like them.
im 5'10 170 if u think that would help

i think that the anthems will. just because of the symmetrical construction. although..the chronics are changed for nxt year. so its a tossup

i have to bump this, im thinking now about getting either the chrons, chron blends, or addicts. any difference between chrons and chron bleds other than fatness, and how do they comepare to the addicts. and also how do all three compare to the PE

the chronics and addicts arent really that similar of a ski... the addicts are symmetrical side cut and flex with a true twin.. its like a stiffer invader.. the chronic is a little less of a park ski. the blend is even less.. the blend is like a true go everywhere do everything all mountain twin... enough waist to float in pow... stiff enough to charge groomers and decent lines. twin to go off jumps. the chronic is an all mountian twin happy everywhere inbounds. the addict is a park and pipe tool thats stiff enough to go everywhere and stomp huge jumps. the invader is a noodle that is perfectly suited to jibbing.
