I wouldn't say it's a medium flex. I have 05/06s and they're pretty stiff.... as stiff, if not stiffer than chronics, and they're light. They're bomb-proof.
I'll have to disagree with skidemon^ I originally had them mounted at center and they killed all mountaing. They felt light like a park ski and manuevered pretty well for a 109 waist. Like getting off the lifts they just want to go straight. You REALLY have to power them to get them turning at slow speeds. Once you get going they are excellent. In the park, they are super stable on jumps and 5s and 7s are easy on the right jump. I didn't do rails on them because to do so would be retarded. Anyway, when Bear got some pow they floated very well for being mounted at the center mark, however, I'm a big guy 6'2" 230. I had an accident where my tips just dived and I flew face first and almost lost a ski. As a result I remounted on the powder mark, which is about 8cm back from true center, and they kill it everywhere there too! Of course, the switch riding will take a bit of getting used to but they still have more than enough tail for you switch junkies. They are really kick ass skis. If you are contemplating on getting them, go for it.
