WTB external hard drive!!

yea.. so just got adobe premiere so I'm gonna start doin some editing and dont wanna flood my poor little laptop with video so I want a hard drive to plop it on. cheapness is the main factore here, so if anyone has one sitting around that they dont use anymore let me know how much you want more it.

i just bought one. sry its not for sale though.

i got a 120 gig for $100 at best buy. make sure yours has a firewire because is soo much easier/faster. especially with videos, when you play it directly off the harddrive, it plays really choppy, like the first 1/2 second of the clip is fine, then it will show like 3 more frames (i didnt know that when i bought mine). from what i hear spinning hard drives arent the best, more probable but i dont even know what other kinds there are out there

don't buy from bestbuy, they mark up rediculously. The best place to buy computer stuff from which is also really cheap is:

www.newegg.com

great site, look for a WD hard drive, those are my personal fave
