Hey I'm Zach and I'm lucky enough to have the opportunity to try out all next years shit. I work at a shop and our boss is the man and pays for us to go to the OnSnow every year! I even get to try boots and bindings! Anyway, I want to help if anyone has any questions about that shit or any other questions like prices or technical shit just ask me.
I've never been on a pair of ninthwards, a binding is usually given the number of its din or its din range as its name so a 16 is prob like a 9-16. the 4frnt eph is sick if you have a place to let loose on some big terrain.
whats your oppiniun on the new trouble maker and how look bindings are making a move to remove the pviot heel's with the px style heel piece? Do you know which binding will get the heel change and which wont?
no way are they going to have next years stuff for this spring, rory didn't even get a pair of his pro-model (this years) until febuary. they are fun skis, but they're not ontop of stuff.
I love the new trouble maker its a great all mountain twin for the east. its beefier than the old trouble maker (now the nothin but trouble) its quite a bit stiffer than before, really boosts out of the pipe and can hold an edge. it's got reinforced edges underfoot... its made in france!
Look/Rossi bindings havent had that sick pivot heel in a few years. that was the best binding and if you can find one grab it. it had the most elastic travel of any binding, meaning your boot could twist a lot more and return to center instead of releasing. it was the best for spinning falls. i heard they might come back with it, i'll post it here if i hear more.
all the new Line skis are very good. The anthem is a lot like the invader, but bigger, 93 underfoot and is great if you are in the park corking out and jibing everything in sight.
As much as it is the whole point of why proskiers exist; Don't think that something is good just cause you see come big name guy using it. He will ski on anything they give him money to ski on, and if it brakes he will get as many more as he likes.
