so, i've been looking at helmets lately and two things have caught my interest. Visor helments and headphone helmets. How do helmet headphones work? and who thinks the visor thing is cool?

I bought a g10 MX, so yeah, I like visors. Its just a style thing, they're completely useless, but so what. As headphones go, yeah, I like having the option. Sound quality is decent with giro's setup, but I head RED's audio is a lot better.

hell no it's not useless! when your in the chair lift and you're passing by some snow guns, it helps alot not to get shitty sticky artificial snow flakes on your lens!! I think it's cool tho. And earphones are cool, because earbuds under the helmet hurts alot.

I really like the hi-fi's there earphones are pretty good quality and i love how light they are.personally though im not in to the visers very much but i guess its just personal preferance.

fuck. my helmet is 2 years old i want to say? its a giro idk which one, but it has the speakers. and seriously they suck this year. like only one would work and the connection would be fine, they pissed me off this year.

i have had the same helmet for a looong time
this is my fifth year with the same one
i dunno if i need to replace it
i like the ones with headphones, and i'm fine either wa with the visor
can helmets ever become like too smashed/useless?

it depends what kind of visor it is. if its a big visor that is very protruding then its probably gonna get caught by the wind sometimes but if its something like the bern baker then it probably wont be that bad

idk some visors r ok but i only liek em to an extent and usually the headphone wualityisnt good cept red is supposed to be pretty good but if u use earbuds inder a hat under helmet it makes ur head warmer, the headphones dont hurt much, and its super comfy cuz its just liek wearin a hat

G10 MX audio, That seems to be a pretty sweet helmet. I'm ordering one tomorrow. I like visors and audio would be nice to have sometimes and it's not that much more so I'm gonna get it.

I have a baker with audio, got it for really cheap and I love it. The only bad thing is that the speakers are kinda low so they are more on my neck than on my ears which is kind of annoying. The Giro visor helmets are really sick too but more expensive.

I just got a Pro-tec helmet. Only 55 euros which is fuck all. White canvas for serious stickerage too.

i think bern solves my problem. The sound has gotten good reviews and the visor is small enough that it still looks good

I love my g10mx for tree skiing, when you have to blast through some tight squeezes, the visor protects your face from branches. If it is loose on you then the wind catches it sometimes but that is because I have a hat under mine and it is not the snuggest fit.
