So, Im tired of my cheap backyard rail, and im gonna some good boxes with lexan. Do I really need coping? I don't want my edges catching the side of the lexan, and I dont want the lexan breaking. A lot of people said make the coping flush or a little above. Im afraid if I do that, I wont actually slide the rail. (the closest mountain to me has some nice boxes, but they absolutely suck cause the coping is too high). I want to slide the plastic on my box, not the coping. I think I will go the extra step above and just use stainless steel if i use coping, but how do I attach the stainless steel rails for coping to the wood on my box?
Has anyone who has a nice box that doesn't have coping run into any problems because of it. Thanks.
