Thinking, Out of Park Boot

So, if I get the money this summer, I'd like to get fitted for an out of park boot, SPK's just dont cut it anywhere but in the park. I know the whole deal, go get fitted find out what fits you so on so forth. I KNOW. I try to be the first guy to say that to the person asking about boots, but I dont want to know what boots to get. I'm totally new to non park boots. I want something that will perform out of the park, stiffer than SPK's, I want to stay in the heel pocket too. I have a relatively wide foot. What should I try on?

Just try on lots of boots. I ride Head RS110's in and out of park because I can't afford SPK's and another pair. I like my boots stiff and the Head's are great. In any case just make sure you try on lots of boots. And if you're gonna get custom footbeds as well I wouldn't get superfeet. I have them and they are good but I've heard other brands are better and last longer.

Well I could go to a shop and try on boots til my feet go numb, but I want to know what some legit boots for out of park would be, so I know where to start, and so I can get the highest quality boot out of the ones that fit me.

as said, try on a lot of stuff. if you want, go to a local ski swap and try everything there on.
im not really informative about boots, my experience goes from getting what fits me at a ski swap, to getting fitted and now riding rampages.
the ski swap boots i had were dalbello crx extreme. in all honesty, they were prolly better then the rampages, back when they were new.. they basically fell apart on the night we had a 24hour event, so they were prolly in the coldest condition they were ever in, and the buckle snapped and more shit just basically broke.
im not too sure how boots that feature a stiffness change are looked upon in the skiing world, but these had that. basically a "walk/carve/ski" setting, soft->stiff respectively.
i skied in all 3, not so much walk, but everytime just whatever felt more 'natural' during that session i went with. this usually was 'ski' /w lightly tightend strap
