I want a nice sized channel gap again, Then probaly a step-up. So basically make the park as good as it was when we had these features. Maybe throw in a wall ride or a butter box? One last thing would be to have a rythem section with atleast 4 smaller jumps similar to a Mx track...
I pretty much agree with all that has been said so far. I'd like to see more of a selection in terms of rails (and boxes), and I think its important that the rails aren't short/quick. Mellow, longer rails would be sick for sure. I've also been wanting to see a new c-box. The one you guys currently have up is soooo old.
By the way, just wanted to say that I enjoyed hitting the new flat-down-flat box you guys put up at the top of the park. It wasn't too short, it was nice to have a mellow double kinked box. Also really enjoyed that new bonk (propane tank?) that you put up, sick for sure! Lastly, thought the up box was fun too.
10. Big gap to down box
9. step up to a high rail with a big drop off the end
8. a halfpipe that doesn't blow
7. Ninjas in the trees with bows and arrows that shoot gapers
6. Lofty booters with steep landings
5. Fine ass ski hoes
4. step up to butter pad to long down rail, possibility of gaping from the step up all the way to the down rail
3. Wall ride (doesn't have to be grotesquely huge, Tlines wallride is fun as hell)
2.George W crucified on the side of some crazy rail feature
1. NAKED BITCHES
Everything NoTeefa said, exept fuck the bows and arrows I want them taken out and shot execution style infront of skyline. As for the actual terrain I would say a good pipe would be on the top of the list. if possible it should also be on a little steeper of an incline. In the park I would say more rails. I don't think I ever saw a regular flat rail in the park. if you could get say 2 10 ft rails (not ride on) a 15 ft flat rail and then 3 20-30ft flat rails. Getting a new c-box like christine said would be good. (mybe 2). and then droping in from where the c-box was this year havng a jump line of big tables would be nice. Also if you could build a large table line somewhere where it got sun for more then an hour (like skyline) that would be sick
2) A large step up. Maybe where the lower hip is right now, with the landing kinda into the rail garden? It would take a lot of snow, but large step ups are soooooo damn fun.
Not directly, no. There are tons of lights OUT there, but they all face towards the flat useless groomer that nobody uses from Brooks. TURN THOSE FUCKERS. The top park could be easily lit up, and lighting the pro line wouldnt take much either. A lit pipe would be cool too, but that might take a lot of work to do correctly.
Yes yes yes yes yes. I would love to have a huge step up somewhere. Unfortunately, to make one, you'll pretty much just have to pile a crazy amount of snow somewhere, since the park is mostly flat or downhill. Somewhere down by the rail garden would be cool, just avoid the upper park since it'll be near impossible to get the speed. I'd love a huge step up thats got an almost vert takeoff, not very long lengthwise, but something that pops you up huge and gives you tons of comfy airtime. A 10 foot step up (vert wise) would be cool, and putting some up-rails on the mound for it could be cool as well.
you could do it after the third jump in the pro-line, with the landing next to the pipe on the left, and you could make a dirt landing so it didn't need so much snow to get going.
1. cut the pipe every night like it says its supposed to be
2. bigger more consistant jumps
3. massive step ups
4. big butter tables/jumps
5. use all the boxes and rails you have
6. setting up lines to hit
7. staying on top of shit throughout the whole season
little jumps and cool lines through the trees, like whats-his-name's line at Whistler. I don't know where you'd do this though. Also, a cafe at the top of Brooks that has hot chocolate and muffins.
a resonably priced pass. like $300 for a youth. a really nice supper pipe. if you get those and a bullet train from down town I will be there almost every day next year.
yeah i'm with bundo. more religious presence is what we need. like gospel music in the half pipe speakers and a big inflatable entrance thing that looks like the pearly gates. and the park crew should wear wings and halos and throw bibles at people they think might be ahtiests. the lifties should only let you on the chair if you could repeat three verses from the good book, and at the end of the park, there could be a confession booth with a sign that said "Repent for Your Spins". That would step my game up.
all mountain park. prolly cant do that. but atleasst top to bottm but a for real top to bottom you no. and a bunch of ollie rails you no. its wher u put a line of rails w/ no jump up to them. pure pop. its so easy for a park krew to set up. u do nothing,
